A module is self-learning kit which usually
consists of a package of learning activities, usually papers that have to be
accomplished by the student. Modules may be used as part of a course, as a
complete course, or as a curriculum design.

Since a module involves self-study, the student
needs self-discipline to work toward mastering a module.
o
Preparing a module is not an easy task. Teachers
may also find it hard to changethe traditional role they are accustomed to.
